No Heart for the GOP

Ann and Nancy Wilson who make up the group Heart has demanded that the GOP stop using their song Barracuda. Hearts says that their creative rights are being violated by using the song without their permission.

"The Republican campaign did not ask for permission to use the song, nor would they have been granted permission," Ann and Nancy Wilson said in an emailed statement on Thursday, according to TMZ.com. "We have asked the Republican campaign publicly not to use or music. We hope our wishes will be honored."

The GOP used the song Wednesday night after the lipstick wearing pit bull gave her VP acceptance speech. Then last night they used it again when she took the stage after McBush gave his acceptance speech.

This isn't the firs time McBush's campaign has been told to stop using a song. Last week, the band Van Halen told the campaign they could no longer use their song Right Now.

Talk about arrogance on the part of the GOP and McBush's campaign. If they are going to show such disregard for an artists creative rights, what guarantee do we have that he won't do like the current administration and use the Constitution to wipe their ass?
